背景信息：

LENG8 (Leukocyte Receptor Cluster Member 8, also known as pp13842 and KIAA1932) is located on human chromosome 19q13.42. The LENG8 gene is conserved in chimpanzee, Rhesus monkey, dog, cow, mouse, rat, zebrafish, and frog. An important paralog of this gene is MCM3AP. LENG8 is predicted to be involved in RNA transport. 3 alternatively spliced human isoforms have been reported.
