CypD-IN-3 is a potent and subtype-selectivecyclophilin D (CypD)inhibitor. CypD-IN-3 has CypD affinity with anIC₅₀value of 0.01 μM. CypD-IN-3 can be used for the research of several diseases including oxidative stress, neurodegenerative disorders, liver diseases, aging,autophagyand diabetes^[1].

CypD-IN-3 (B52) has selectivity for inhibiting CypD, CypA, CypB and CypE with IC₅₀values of 0.01 μM, 1.1 μM, 0.21 μM and 0.31 μM, respectively^[1].
CypD-IN-3 (10 μM) inhibits mitochondrial permeability transition pore opening in isolated mitochondria^[1].
