Lintopride is an antagonist of 5HT4. It has moderate 5HT3 antagonist properties.

Peristaltic waves are also enhanced by Lintopride. Lintopride obviously enhances the lower oesophageal sphincter basal tone without affecting lower oesophageal sphincter physiological relaxation after swallowing [1].
