NBI-31772 (NBI31772) is a novel and potent non-peptide inhibitor of insulin-like growth factor-1 binding protein (IGFBP) with Kd values are 1 - 24 nM for all six human subtypes. It displaces insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I) from the IGF-I:IGFBP complex in 3T3 fibroblasts, but does not interact with the IGF receptors.
