Framycetin sulfate (Neomycin B; Fradiomycin B)
is a potent aminoglycoside class of antibiotic that works as a potent RNase P
cleavage activity inhibitor with a Ki of 35 μM. It is a component of
neomycin that is produced by Streptomyces fradiae. It can enhance
effectiveness of topical antibacterial treatment of adenoiditis. It is
also used in burn therapy.
