Description: MRT-68921 HCl, the hydrochloride salt of MRT68921, is a dual inhibitor of ULK1 and ULK2 (the autophagy kinases) with potential anticancer activity. It inhibits ULK1/2 with IC50s of 2.9 and 1.1 nM, respectively. MRT68921 significantly kills tumor cells by breaking the balance of
oxidative stress signals. These results highlight the potential of
MRT68921 as an effective agent for tumor therapy.
