Background:

Albendazole sulfone-d₃is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of albendazole sulfone by GC- or LC-MS. Albendazole sulfone is an active metabolite of the benzimidazole anthelmintic albendazole .^1,2It inhibits spore formation ofE. hellem, E. cuniculi, andE. intestinalis in vitro(IC₉₀s =<0.0001,<0.001, and<0.1 µg/ml, respectively).²
