Desipramine Hydrochloride, formerly known as Norpramin and EX-4355, is a tricyclic dibenzazepine compound that potentiates neurotransmission. Desipramine Hydrochloride selectively blocks reuptake of norepinephrine from the neural synapse, and also appears to impair serotonin transport.
