Tribuloside is a flavonoid that has been found inT. terrestrisand has antibacterial and antioxidant activities.1It is active against the mycobacteriaM. madagascarienseandM. indicus pranii(MICs = 0.8 and 1.6 mg/ml).2Tribuloside scavenges DPPH radicals when used at concentrations ranging from 63.7 to 75.2 mg/ml.
