Also a CNS active psychotropic agent with a Unique, Non-D 2 Receptor Mechanism of Action. It has the potential to be used for the treatment of acute schizophrenia that does not bind to the dopamine-2 (D2) receptor but binds to trace amine-associated (TAAR) receptors and 5-HT1A receptors. May also be used for other neuropsychiatric disorders.
