2'-C-Methyladenosine is an inhibitor ofhepatitis C virus (HCV) replication. 2'-C-Methyladenosine inhibitsHCVreplicon and NS5B-catalyzed RNA synthesis withIC₅₀values of 0.3μM and 1.9 μM, respectively. 2'-C-Methyladenosine also potently inhibits LRV1 inLeishmaniaguyanensis (Lgy)andLeishmaniabraziliensis^[1]^[2].
