It has been used in the study of lipid membrane organization and dynamics. The levels of 1-stearoyl-2-docosahexaenoyl-sn-glycero-3-PC are decreased in the L5 anterior horn in a superoxide dismutase 1 mutant (SODG93A) transgenic mouse model of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) at the terminal stage of disease. |
