Triticonazole is a triazole-based fungicidal agent as well as a pesticide with broad antifungal and endocrine disrupting activities. It can be used for the control of common soil and seed-borne diseases on cereals and other crops. Triticonazole may inhibit 14-α demethylase, thus inhibiting ergosterol production and fungal cell wall synthesis.
